Pallyy: The Australian Social Media Manager Built for Managing Multiple Brands

There are plenty of social media management platforms out there, and for agencies, it’s hard to know if the one you’re using is really the right fit or the best value.

At Tuesday Creatives, we’ve used three to date, recently jumping ship from one to another, before realising the new platform wasn’t all it was touted to be and crawling back to the original.

There doesn’t seem to be a single solution that nails everything you want in a platform and, importantly, is an equally smooth experience for client and agency alike, without costing the sun and the moon.

So, when Pallyy founder and developer Tim Bennetto reached out to us to try his platform and review it, we said, ‘Let’s do it.’

Here’s our look at Pallyy and how it could be a fit for agencies and fractional marketing teams managing a growing client portfolio.

Where Pallyy Makes Sense for Growing Agencies

One of the first things that stood out was the pricing model. Social media management software can become expensive for agencies because pricing is often tied to the number of clients being managed or the number of people in your team. Every new client or team member working on social means a jump in your software bill.

Pallyy’s approach is much more efficient for agencies, freelancers or anyone managing socials for multiple businesses or clients. Its Agency plan is $99 USD per month for up to 10 social sets and three team members, while its Scale plan is $199 USD per month for up to 30 social sets and 10 team members.

A social set is essentially one brand or client profile, with up to 11 social accounts grouped within it. So, a client with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok still counts as one social set.

For anyone with a growing client portfolio, the maths starts to look pretty compelling, pretty quickly. Rather than paying a substantial fee for every client or internal user, you have room to add accounts without the software cost increasing every time the agency grows.

Each brand has its own content calendar, with month, week and list views. Posts can be dragged and dropped as plans change and content can be adapted for individual platforms rather than publishing the same version everywhere.

Simplicity is everything when you’re moving between multiple client calendars every day.

Client Approvals Without Another Login

The approval workflow is probably one of the more useful features for agencies.

Clients can be given a link to their content calendar where they can see what's planned, leave comments and approve or reject posts without creating their own Pallyy account.

Anyone who has managed social media for clients will know how quickly approvals can spread across email threads, shared documents and messages. Keeping the feedback attached to the post makes a lot more sense, particularly when several people are involved.

Approved content can then be scheduled and published from the same calendar across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, YouTube, X, Threads and Bluesky.

Post Settings and Functionality

Pallyy gives users the full Instagram experience, with the full suite of settings including trial reels, product tagging and the ability to add collaborators, trending audio and first comments, offering much more functionality than many of the more expensive platforms out there.

You can publish immediately, schedule posts or set a push notification to remind you to post manually.

You can also connect Pallyy to Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants.

User Interface

The user interface is also the cleanest, most intuitive and easiest to navigate of the platforms we’ve used. We haven’t encountered any glitches yet, which are very common with a lot of the newer platforms.

Some small things, like arranging carousel pages in the right order, are a bit fiddly.

Some Useful Extras

There are a few smaller features that also make sense for the type of teams Pallyy is targeting.

Each brand on a paid plan gets its own hosted link-in-bio page with custom styling, buttons and image-grid links, along with click analytics.

It's not necessarily a reason to choose a social media management platform on its own, but it's useful to have included, especially for agencies that would otherwise be setting up and managing another third-party tool for clients.

Pallyy also has a social inbox covering supported messages, comments and reviews, as well as analytics and reporting for key platforms. Agency and Scale plans include custom PDF reports, which could take some of the manual work out of monthly client reporting.

Taken together, these features point to what Pallyy seems to do well, which is keeping the everyday parts of managing multiple social media clients relatively simple.

Pallyy and Fractional Marketing

All of the above becomes increasingly relevant for fractional marketing teams.

Fractional marketing can involve strategy, content, social media, design, photography, video, PR, website design, SEO and performance marketing, with different specialists working across several clients at the same time.

The more clients and contributors involved, the more important the systems behind the work become. For social media, that means having somewhere clear to plan content, collect feedback, manage approvals, publish and report without creating more administration than necessary.

Pallyy's approach appears particularly well suited to smaller agencies, freelance social media managers and fractional teams that have moved beyond managing everything manually but don't necessarily need an enormous enterprise platform.

For those teams, the combination of agency-friendly pricing, straightforward client approvals, functionality and a simple visual calendar is probably where Pallyy makes its strongest case.
